Mid-Century Rustic Inspiration at Burlington, WI Farm

Photographed by Curator Lisa of lisa kathan photography:

The Barn at Wagon Wheel Farm was opened in 2018 by Chelsea and James, who’ve taken special care to upgrade their family’s farm with modern amenities while keeping the pastoral charm. This rural farm in Burlington, Wisconsin, is completely rustic in its aesthetic, including a large barn for receptions; an original mid-1800’s farm house for the bride to get ready; a perfect long porch for wedding day brunches. And something rarely seen, a small barn just for the groom and his men!

One of the most stunning rooms of many, include the beautifully textured Milk Parlor, which we featured as a ceremony space, complete with a unique ochre backdrop and candles. The handcrafted winding staircase inside the silo is also a stunning feature, which leads up to the main barn, which was styled with mid-century modern pieces to create a cool, modern vibe in this rustic space.
