From the photographer: Here was our concept: Victoria and Simon met eight years ago while on a trip to Venice. After discovering that they were both from the Midwest and had a love of traveling to old world places, they hit it off. After a year of being pen pals, they decided to officially become a couple and they settled down together in Chicago in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Simon proposed two years ago and the two have decided to tie the knot with an intimate ceremony near their home, at the Villa D’Citta bed and breakfast. They rented out the bed and breakfast for the weekend and are having their closest 30 friends and family members join them, and many of them will stay with them at the historic B&B. Victoria and Simon hope to have an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard, along with an outdoor dinner reception. Each and every detail will be curated to represent them and their love of traveling to places with both charm and history. Following the celebration, Victoria and Simon will head off for a two month honeymoon across Europe to see some of their favorite European destinations.
