Christy and Ed are one of those couples that are just a joy to be around. I was lucky enough to shoot both their engagement photos and the wedding. Needless to say, we had a blast at both! They are young professionals that are extremely supportive and loving with of each other and all those around them. They love to have fun. Easy going. Creative. And just awesome!

Wedding prep was quite a bustle. Both the ladies and the guys were getting ready at Christy and Ed's apartment. There were a little bit of nerves in the air which were quickly calmed by a Moscow Mule and a 30 minute tutorial on how to tie a bow tie, given by the groom.

Christy and Edward were married at the court house a few weeks prior to the event and prepared a sweet celebration for their guests. The couple, family and friends spoke and took part in a special handfasting ceremony under the midday sun.

Bridal party photos were at a special location found by the bride and groom a few weeks earlier. Ed wanted to add a little grunge to their wedding day and this spot certainly did the trick. Color - Texture - Attitude - Sunglasses. LOVE!! It also gave me a chance to check around the area to find some other locations that fit the mood and create something really memorable for them... and I wanted to play around with some lighting.

Their wedding reception venue was no slouch either! The Fulton Street Collective is a must visit! Exposed brick, bright, colorful art everywhere. It really tickled the senses! It fit their bright personalities quite well!

They brought in a fabulous taco bar to fill everyone's bellies. Authentic Mexican drinks. The perfect blending of their names for the wedding: #Mcsullivernwedding and a Snapchat filter for the evening of debauchery.
