John and Kim met in high school on a mission trip to Biloxi Mississippi. They dated all throughout college and started a life together in Louisville. Their common love of traveling, camping and hiking have played a huge part of their life and wanted that reflected in their beautiful wedding.

“John and I chose Fishermen's Inn because we loved that it was both rustic and elegant. We also loved the beautiful grounds with gorgeous flowers and ponds. The venue had some southern flair which was perfect because we currently live in Louisville, Kentucky!”

Creating the whole feeling for the weekend started in plaid shirts for the ladies while sipping champagne and getting glammed by Kate Johnson Artistry Bridal Team and Haute Hairstyle. Katherine Salvatore Photography started capturing the details that were so thought through from Kims dress from Jackies Bridal to the incredible flowers from Wild Orchid Custom Floral Design.

Who doesn’t love a cake topper with the whole family involved ? Bubba and Ivy the couples pooches were represented on the big day since they couldn’t be there themselves.
