What were your wedding colors and theme?

Alanya: Blush and Navy Blue- theme was summery floral

How did you two meet?

Alanya: On Video Phone through work.

How did he/she propose?

Alanya: Joseph proposed to me at Niagara Falls, Canada the same weekend as my 30th birthday.

Tell us about your wedding style. (Bride, Groom & Wedding Party)

Alanya: My wedding style was simple, clean, summery. We had party of 11. 6 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen

What was your vision for your wedding day?

Alanya: My vision was very rustic, summery, and simple

Were there any family or cultural traditions you did for your wedding day?

Alanya: No we did not. We are non-traditional.

Do you have any advice for couples planning their day?

Alanya: Take things in a day and don’t stress yourself over little things. The wedding day flew by so quick!!

What was your favorite moment of the day?

Alanya: First look!! loved his reactions!

What was your favorite part of the planning process?

Alanya: Finding the venue and cake tasting was my favorite part.

How did you go about finding & hiring your venue?

Alanya: We had connections that worked there and told us to check it out.

Looking back, what was the best decision you made when planning your wedding day?

Alanya: Best decision I made was my dress and the venue. Loved it and it was perfect!

Is there something you wish you had done differently?

Alanya: I wish I spent more on photo booths, or some activity that kept the guests busy.
