Often couples planning a tiny wedding tell me they want great photography and wedding memories, but they just don't want to "deal with it." They don't want to come up with an officiant, a location, decor, etc, and so many times they end up at City Hall to be married.⁠

I Do's Brought to You involves a group of exclusive vendors that couples can choose from to create their perfect tiny wedding day. It’s perfect for couples who want to have a tiny wedding, but don't have the time or desire to put the thing together (ask all my couples this year who opted for tiny wedding, it's a lotta work and money, even if it's tiny!). You have to find a place to get married, then an officiant, and some flowers, and just thinking about it makes most couples run to City Hall.

As I often tell my couples, if you're making the investment in wedding photos with a great photographer, you should also make the investment in making sure your photos look great, with a place to take them. The hard part is it’s pretty challenging to find good spots to do photos in Chicago right now, and if you need something indoors because of weather, fuhgettaboutit. Everything for indoor photography is closed due to COVID-19 restrictions! ⁠

But all the venues included in the I Do's Brought to You packages are uh-freaking-mazing, and you'll have a great spot for photos. The I Do's Brought to You packages usually range around $3-4k, and can be less or more depending on what you select. OK, $3k sounds like a lot if you do a simple comparison of $10 to City Hall. But after you hire a great photographer, get flowers, and a permit to shoot indoors if the weather's bad (which you can’t even do right now!), you're more than halfway there, even with a City Hall wedding.

And if you’re planning on a backyard wedding, go ahead and add even more cost for an officiant and decor. Plus, the amount of work you’ll put into pulling it off is not what most couples want (like, making your backyard ceremony perfect…phew!).

Most offerings in the I Do's Brought to You packages are à la carte, so if it’s your dream to be married in your parent’s backyard, or you want to live stream your wedding, you can make adjustments that will affect the end cost.

Plus, you get an Urban Allure Events day-of-coordinator, who will walk you through which venue to select, a color theme, and manage all the contracts for you, as well as be there to help with all the details on your wedding day.

First, she wanted to create something amazing for the couples of Chicago, who’ve been struggling to make weddings work amid a pandemic, but don’t want to sacrifice having beautiful memories of their wedding day.
