From Laura of Wicker Park Inn: I received photos from the last wedding we hosted at the Wicker Park Inn. The wedding was on February 29th. A few weeks later, the world turned upside down.

As I browsed through the gallery, each photo brought tears to my eyes and a smile on my face. I longed for a simpler time, when loved ones could gather and celebrate together. I miss being a part of such a grand event and bearing witness to a celebration of love. But that’s the thing about love. No matter what life brings us, love endures. Love is stronger than hate. Love is persistent in the eyes of a storm. And love withstands and holds true when all else is upside down and shuttered. There is always room for love, and love will always prevail.
