Classic Chicago Ballroom Wedding at The Blackstone

There’s nothing…and we mean nothing…about Marcus and Annette’s classic Chicago ballroom wedding that we don’t love! They wanted their celebration to take place at the heart of the city and with a great team of vendors they made it happen. Stunning architecture from their venue The Blackstone Hotel combined with fancy florals and timeless decor made for a day that’s full of beauty. Don’t believe us? You surely will after you see these film aesthetic photos from bonphotage!

From the bride: For our wedding we wanted to center our experience on the heart of downtown Chicago, where we first met and started our home together. We wanted to create a feeling of romantic elegance for our day. We achieved this by complementing the formal neoclassical Beaux-Arts architecture of The Blackstone Hotel with soft details in lush overflowing floral, a waterfall floral effect for our wedding cake, effortless off-the-shoulder bridesmaids’ gowns, and lots of candlelight.

Chicago really has it all in terms of natural scenery, where one moment we can have our first look in Millennium Park in the middle of a burst of bright red fall trees, to then having a church ceremony steps away from the sand and crashing shore of Lake Michigan. It was a truly perfect experience to encapsulate the natural beauty of the landscape with all the historic architecture of our city. We are thrilled with how every detail came together and could not be more grateful.
