Boho Wedding in Illinois

We are so excited to share Alysa and Tyler’s outdoor wedding day at Farmington Lake. Alysa’s heart and handiwork were weaved throughout their entire day. She made all of their flowers, their ceremony decorations, signs around the reception.. She truly brought her boho wedding dreams to life at Farmington Lake! She also weaved together the perfect balance of preserving traditions for their day that resonated with them and creating new traditions that reflected them as a couple; a favorite of which was sneaking back to their house after the ceremony was over and before heading to the reception for photos with their beloved dog, Cheef, and sharing a “first-joint” as Mr & Mrs.

When Alysa and Tyler were thanking their family and friends at their reception, Tyler said something notable that really stood. He said, “I know we’ve shed a lot of tears today, but I guess that’s just us, we pour our hearts into everything we do and fill it with passion and intention..” and that was just the perfect way to sum up their day. Filled with love, with a passion for the life they are building together, and with intention to savor every bit of it.
