European-Style Forgotten Garden Elopement Styled Shoot at The Loft of Elements Preserved
The joy of creating in a blank canvas venue gives you the opportunity to design to your vision, and every event looks a little different, at The Loft of Elements Preserved. Nestled in a century old building in the heart of Elgin, the industrial-chic ambiance mixed with classic European-style furniture and furnishings in-house, allowed us to create a beautiful “forgotten garden” styled shoot, while featuring just a few of our architectural finds, as backdrop and foundation pieces for this shoot.
Focusing on one of several 10 ft. French Farm tables, the table was situated directly in front of a vintage mantel, where green Smilax was woven throughout the mantel, and a vintage gold frame was perched on the mantel. A beautiful tablescape set the scene with tones of blush, ivory, and sand, with the central focus being a large marble compote filled with a beautiful variety of free flowing flowers, while accents of brass candleholders and lots of candlelight was the icing on the cake.
The vintage charcoal sideboard was elevated by the natural draping of greenery, both on the sideboard, and gently falling from the overhead lighting fixture, seeming to nestle the sideboard into the garden scene. A simple two-tier cake, accented with gold flourishes was the jewel to this vignette!
Our 7 ft. tall vintage architectural columns created the perfect ceremony location, anchored by one of our numerous vintage inspired rugs, where couples can envision saying their vows during their intimate ceremony. Surrounded with green Smilax, the pillars took on the “forgotten garden” vibe, as well!
With hardwood floors throughout, industrial hanging pendant lighting, and vintage chandeliers, The Loft of Elements Preserved becomes an intimate event space for your elevated wedding, as you say I do! Hosting your intimate wedding or special event at The Loft allows you the unique opportunity to peruse and upgrade your package with any of our specialty rentals, housed in our nearby showroom, Elements Preserved Vintage Rental; these unique pieces have been curated over time and chosen specifically for their use in your milestone events.
The “Forgotten Garden” team of vendors came together to create one of the most beautiful events we’ve ever hosted, capturing the timeless essence of vintage style, European classics, and simple elegance, and our reminder is this: if you have a vision for your special day, take it to trusted vendors who are able to successfully create and complete your wishes.
