Folding Love and Tradition into Fall
Written by Rojin, owner of Baroj Events
This styled photoshoot tells a story of love shaped by tradition, patience, and elegance. We envisioned a wedding design where the intricate art of origami would intertwine with natural beauty, creating a setting that feels both peaceful and deeply meaningful.
Origami, echoing forms found in nature, became the heart of our design. Cranes, symbols of peace, longevity, and good fortune floated gently throughout the space, reminding guests of the beauty that comes from simple beginnings and steady, deliberate folds. Each crane carried wishes for a happy and lasting future and added depth and meaning to every detail.
With the first signs of autumn, we chose a palette of dark, muted pastels to capture the richness of the season. In harmony with the paper art, the floral arrangements were inspired by Ikebana, featuring organic textures and delicate branches. These arrangements added an earthy, yet sophisticated touch, their gentle structure balanced by the intricate origami woven within.
Together, these elements transformed the space into a celebration of both art and nature, creating a wedding atmosphere that feels intimate and layered with meaning. Here, origami is more than décor; it’s a testament to love’s quiet strength and a timeless symbol of the beauty that unfolds with patience and care.
