"We met our sophomore year of high school and we became best friends before dating. Robert proposed at the Chicago Botanic Garden on a warm summer day. We wanted our wedding to feel classic and timeless so we went with a white and green color scheme with gold details. Having our wedding at the Hyatt Lodge was a fun nod to being high school sweethearts as we had our prom at the same venue—we loved the mid century modern feel of the Grand Oaks Pavilion."
