Sophisticated Elegance Chicago Summer Wedding

Goosebumps. All day long.

Abbi and Peter's classic, romantic summer wedding day was a dream.

The bride, the groom, the flowers, the venue, the creamy golden hour lighting giving the terraced cocktail hour an ethereal glow. In short, it was a photographers dream come true. From the bride's meticulously collected details to their incredible reception at one of Chicagoland's oldest (circa 1890) and most exclusive private clubs, I honestly didn't know what gorgeous thing to photograph first! Oh, and the bride and groom were total smoke shows, too!

Abigail and Peter were high school sweethearts who stuck it out through their long-distance college years and the pandemic. We even stopped by their old alma mater to pay homage to where their love story began (their high school also happens to be insanely stunning!) right after their traditional Catholic mass ceremony.

Their portraits were held during the dreamiest, creamiest golden hour imaginable. Their reception space was elegant and sophisticated but the glow of the candlelight lent a warm, intimate vibe to the space.
