Carla Doshi is the Chicago wedding officiant and ceremony storyteller behind Forever Incredible Ceremonies, creating custom wedding ceremonies that feel so personal, guests often assume she has known the couple for years. Since 2001, Carla has helped couples make the ceremony the heart of their wedding day, taking the time to truly get to know their story, personalities, values, families, traditions, and sense of humor. She weaves those details into a ceremony filled with romance, laughter, emotion, and meaning that feels completely and authentically theirs. Based in Chicago and available throughout Chicagoland and beyond, Carla creates traditional and non-traditional weddings, secular and spiritual ceremonies, multicultural and interfaith weddings, fusion celebrations, intimate and micro-weddings, elopements, and vow renewals. No two ceremonies are the same. Whether thoughtfully blending cultures and family traditions, helping a couple find the words for their personal vows, incorporating children or loved ones, or turning years of memories into their love story, Carla creates each ceremony around the people standing in front of her, not a template.
Before becoming a full-time professional wedding officiant, Carla spent 15 years as a wedding photographer, giving her a unique understanding of ceremony flow, timing, logistics, and everything happening around a couple in those once-in-a-lifetime moments. Couples and fellow wedding professionals describe her as warm, calming, joyful, prepared, and someone they can trust to help them feel comfortable, supported, and fully present.
