Meet Mercy: Officiant with Corazón & Founder of Novias y Cafecito

Mercy González is a Chicago-based bilingual officiant and ceremony curator known for creating heartfelt, personalized experiences that celebrate love, culture, and connection. With a warm, “favorite prima” approach, she guides couples through one of the most meaningful moments of their lives—bringing a sense of ease, joy, and intention to every ceremony she leads.

Since 2019, Mercy has officiated over 400 weddings and quinceañeras, crafting bilingual ceremonies that reflect each couple’s unique story. From intimate elopements to large celebrations, she thoughtfully incorporates cultural traditions such as el lazo, las arras, and family blessings, seamlessly blending English and Spanish so every guest feels included and every moment feels authentic.

Beyond the ceremony, Mercy is the founder of Novias y Cafecito, a growing community designed to support and connect Latina brides through curated events and meaningful conversation. Her work continues to expand beyond officiating—creating spaces where love, cultura, and community are honored every step of the way.
