Silk Stem Collective is a woman-owned, sustainably-minded faux floral rental shop that exists to provide beautiful and affordable wedding flowers to the Chicagoland area. Almost every couple struggles with budget when wedding planning – so we’re here to remind you that you don’t need to compromise on beauty or budget when it comes to flowers! Whether you need bouquets and boutonnieres, or centerpieces and arch decor, Silk Stem rents all the items a traditional florist can create but without the high cost or unpredictability of fresh flowers.
Our rentals can be shipped direct to your door about one week from your event (return labels included!), or picked up from our Shorewood location to eliminate shipping costs. Alternatively, we are happy to set up and tear down your florals in person for an additional fee. With transparent pricing and an average order of just $500, our couples have been able to achieve their full floral vision for less than one third the cost of fresh flowers, allowing for more room in your budget for venue, catering, or decor.
Although we specialize in renting pre-assembled items from our twelve curated collections, we do offer options for customization of our items with additional artificial flowers to match your color scheme. We can also create a fully custom arch or collection from scratch to match any vision, for an additional cost. We have no minimums and no event is too small for us! From elopements to microweddings, our rentals are perfect for all Chicagoland weddings.
