It’s that time again: Festival Friday! This week I’d like to focus a little more on some inspiration for the BIG DAY! Maybe you’re trying to decide between a band or a DJ? Perhaps looking for a certain theme or something with an art deco look to make your centerpieces pop? Maybe you looking for something to sooth the craving of that late night local snack to provide your guests… this weekend has it all!
Wells Street Art Festival
Wells Street Art Festival is always held the 2nd full weekend of June in the historic Old Town neighborhood. It is known for having 250 nationally acclaimed artists, dedicated stage for live performances, and 20+ food and drink vendors selling a varied assortment of tasty treats. The perfect opportunity to explore and create that one of a kind centerpiece or explore different booths for decor inspiration!

Andersonville Midsommarfest
Midsommarfest is located on Clark Street between Foster and Catalpa for two days and three nights of music, dancing, kids’ entertainment, and delicious food. Vendors from around the city welcome the warm season with specials and sales! In addition, the second annual CHICAGO EQUALITY RALLY will take place at the Balmoral Pride Stage on Sunday, June 10 at 12PM. The Rally aims to unify people with a mission to make change towards equal treatment, protection, and access for all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or immigrant status.

Pilsen Food Truck Social
Pilsen Food Truck Social in the eclectic Pilsen community will be on full display when it rolls onto 18th street. Thinking something Chicago based for your late night bite on wedding day? This year over 25 food trucks and local restaurants will dish out mobile delicacies, and host live music from the legendary Thalia Hall. Dozens of local artisans, retailers, and non-profits will participate as vendors and exhibitors. The perfect way to get your Chicago Fix!

Chicago Blues Festival
Looking for some music inspiration? Chicago Blues Festival is the largest free blues festival in the world and remains the largest of Chicago's Music Festivals. Taking place over three days on four different stages, blues fans will enjoy free live music in the "Blues Capital of the World."
This year will feature feature several tributes to past artists and will close with the amazing Mavis Staples.

Ribfest Chicago
Ribfest Chicago is celebrating 20 years of Ribs and Rock and Roll! 13 different rib restaurants includes a few that fans have crowned “People’s Choice,” as well as a few new faces added to the mix. Ribfest is located on Lincoln at the 6 corner of Irving Park and Damen Ave.
