A Romantic, Dusty Blue Wedding Styled Shoot
Imagine this: On top of a luxurious fur rug in front of a gorgeous stone fireplace sits a farm table adorned with floral lollipops, lanterns, and candles galore for you and your sweetheart. Photographer Meghan of Meghan McCarthy Photography says: “The initial inspiration came from the grounds and extraordinary venue of Orchard Ridge Farms in Rockton, Illinois. It may be off the beat and path, but once you arrive on the property, you are transcended into a wonderful rustic location with orchards, a pond and a stellar pavilion.”
She continued to say: “The excellent group of vendors wanted to highlight a specific part of the venue, the grand fireplace. This became the focal point for the shoot with an elegant mix of textures and colors of neutral blues, greens and whites were incorporated. The added touches of fur in the rug and pillows added a luxe feel to the whole experience.”
The table scape created by Rustique Swan was accented with their vintage rental pieces (YOU CAN RENT EVERYTHING YOU SEE HERE!) and complimented by gorgeous green and white floral arrangements from Willrett Flower Co.
The bride and groom were styled elegant and classic. We can’t get enough of the neck line on the bride’s dress from Bri’Zan Couture. Her look was completed with sparkling jewels from MelJoy Jewelry. The groom was dapper in a black suit from The Groomsmen Suit.
The Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms showered the couple with an incredible charcuterie display complete with champagne.
For dessert they enjoyed not one but THREE wedding cakes and perfect pink macarons from The Noble Cakery that were inspired by The Royal Wedding.
