Vendor Spotlight - DJ Luniks Entertainment

Today we are so excited to introduce one of our Community Members, Daniel from Luniks Entertainment. We had the pleasure to sit down and talk to Daniel to learn more about him and how he started his career as a wedding and event DJ!

Tell us a little more about you!
”I always had a passion for music, I started djing in college for fun at the University of Illinois when one of my friends introduced me to the world of DJ-ing. After that, I turned a fun hobby into a career DJ-ing at bars, weddings, and parties. Now I have been DJ-ing for about 11 years and have owned my own company for 5 years.”

What is the biggest event you have DJ-ed for?
”I got to open for DJ Robbie Rivera at Dayglow Music Festival.”

What makes Dj Luniks Entertainment different from other DJ’s?
”Luniks Entertainment is an open format DJ so there is absolutely no restriction to what we can play. We adjust to any genre or style of music. There is currently 6 other DJ’s on my team. I strive for my clients to get to know my DJ’s to make sure that they are a good fit for each other.”

What is your favorite part about weddings?
“Not knowing that something can go down is such a thrill. You obviously don’t want it too but sometimes things happen that you have to adjust in the moment and make things work. Making a last minute big change work is the biggest satisfaction in the world, especially when no one knows.”

What is your favorite wedding song?
”I love Africa by Toto because it always gets people signing their hearts out.”

What are three things you can’t live without?
”Music, coffee, and vacations.”
