Springtime Elegance Styled Shoot at the Galleria Marchetti
Light and airy with pastel hues, this luxurious styled shoot at the Galleria Marchetti is giving us all the spring feels! These creative yet elegant details captured by Cristina Ilao Photography are a must see!
Written and photographed by Cristina Ilao of Cristina Ilao Photography:
The theme of the shoot was springtime elegance - welcoming spring with seasonal pastel coloured flowers, a light and airy vibe and fancy details inspired by royal weddings.
Galleria Marchetti provided the perfect backdrop with its palatial event area, the Pavillion. It has an indoor space with an adjoining terrace, a courtyard and a square. The large glass windows in the main room allowed plenty of natural light which perfectly suited my photography style. The elegant drapes and magnificent chandeliers adorning the ceiling added a whimsical feel.
White roses were used to create a classic and simple bridal bouquet to match the white princess wedding dress. The top table was decorated with hydrangeas, peach and white roses and tulips all beautifully arranged in fancy trumpet vases for a luxurious look while rose petals were scattered on the table to add a romantic vibe.
Victoria of Kensington Florals and Events styled a luxury top table using fabrics in sea-mist and sage from Windy City Linen. She used Flyy Design Creative’s colourful stationery pieces to mark the place settings and show the menu. The ceramic plates, silver utensils and clear water and wine goblets were kept simple to complement the other decorative elements on the table. Candles in stylish holders of varying height were scattered along with flower petals to create a relaxed ambiance
Amy of Amy Beck Cake Design created a five-tier fondant wedding cake fit for royalty. It was decorated with hundreds of beautifully handmade sugar flowers in various sizes and colours and lined with fancy sugar ruffles at the bottom layers.
The bride wore a dress created by California-based designer Liana Mirzadeh of Autumn Silk and supplied by Illinois-based and family-owned bridal boutique Eva’s Bridal International. It was made with luxury silk and delicate lace and was then tastefully decorated with intricate hand-embroidered appliques. A glamorous tiara and an elegant set of jewelry by Calla Couture Jewelers completed the look. Emanuele’s Tuxedo provided a white modern luxury tuxedo that complemented the bridal style.
