Chicago Classic - Paint the Town Teal
It was a fine, sunny afternoon in June 2010. Shaina had just completed her MBA final exams and was ready to paint the town teal. She and her classmate decided to meet friends to watch Game 6 of the Blackhawks/Flyers Stanley Cup Final at a fine establishment by the name of 'Joe's on Weed St.'
After a couple of hours of revelry, Shaina's friend suggested that they go say 'hi' to her coworker, who was watching the game in the back bar with his friends. After meeting said coworker (AKA John) and friends, Shaina and friends were going to call it a night and started to head out. That was, until Shaina asked her other friend if she should go back and ask the coworker out. Upon getting an affirmative, Shaina did exactly that (he said "yes"), the Blackhawks went on to win the Stanley Cup (and twice more, subsequently), and the rest, they say, is history.

“ We loved that it was a little different/out of the box, that we could do the ceremony on the stairs, had a view of the river (at night especially), AND that technically it's a CTA stop (since it's in the Merchandise Mart and I am a huge proponent of public transportation).”
