Mission Statement: Wish Upon a Wedding is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that grants weddings and vow renewals to couples facing serious illness or a life-altering health circumstances.

WHO/WHAT:

Wedtoberfest is an exciting alternative to traditional wedding shows. Kick start the wedding planning process with an event that combines a casual wedding show and a craft beer festival. This year, Wedtoberfest will take place at Artifact Events, 4325 N. Ravenswood Ave in Chicago, IL on Wednesday, September 14th. An evening of beer, bubbly, food and craft spirits, Wedtoberfest is an intimate yet easy-going opportunity to meet wedding vendors from every category—from dresses & formal attire, to invitations & decor, to photo & video, to food & beverage (of course), planning & more! Admission ticket includes access to all vendors, food samples, cost of beverage tastings and a great atmosphere with DJ and live music. Tickets sales benefit our non-profit partner for the event.

WEDTOBERFEST WILL INCLUDE:

● A hand-picked group of the area’s best independent wedding pros

● An intimate evening with music, food, beer and bubbly

● Commemorative tasting glass for each guest, five beer tastings and choice of beverage for one full pour

● VIP guests will enjoy an early express entry into the event, additional beer tastings, an extra full pour, plus a swag bag with goodies from our sponsors.

Beverage providers include Aleman Brewing Company, Eris Brewery & Cider House, KOVAL Distillery, Maplewood Brewery & Distillery, Noon Whistle Brewing, On Tour Brewing, Revolution Brewing, Tighthead Brewing Company and more!

Wedtoberfest hand picks small, independent vendors that offer unique and non-traditional wedding services. The event showcases a select few vendors in each category which offer diverse styles and price points to appeal to many different couples. TICKETS:

Tickets are $20/person or $35/couple in advance online. VIP tickets are $30/person or $50/couple in advance online.

Tickets will be available through the Wedtoberfest website via Eventbrite. Day of event tickets will be available starting at midnight on Wednesday, September 14th. Wedtoberfest cannot accept cash or credit at the door.

Due to the nature of Wedtoberfest, it is a 21+ event and IDs will be checked at the door for every attendee. Attendees will receive a commemorative tasting glass & tickets to enjoy beverages from the featured breweries while shopping for vetted wedding pros.

Wedtoberfest benefits the non-profit organization, Generosity.org. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty, restore dignity and inspire dreams. Through Generosity.org’s Water & Sanitation initiative, we work with implementing partners in the field to build sustainable clean water projects.
