Classic Spring Wedding

With a delicate color palette consisting of pinks, mauves and greenery, combined with such grace and elegance, Julie and Brian’s wedding day encompassed everything a spring wedding should. Not only was the sun shining on their beautiful day, but their was lots of love in the air. And we must admit, they have one of the cutest ring bearers we’ve ever seen! The first time I met with Julie & Brian, it was over a failed FaceTime video! They live in Seattle, which is one of my favorite places to visit, and they have a super cute pup named Mia that they love to spend time with. We did their engagement session in Chicago a couple months back and their wedding was pretty perfect!

Contrary to some of the other days this April, Julie & Brian’s day was full of sunshine and warm weather! Both got ready at the same hotel and Brian actually stopped in to the getting ready room to get his hair done too (before Julie was dressed of course). The ladies were laughing all morning and shared a mimosa or two.

Everything about Julie’s dress was beautiful and elegant. Her mother actually even sewed the off the shoulder sleeves onto the dress which really was the perfect finishing touch. Her accessories were topped off with gorgeous nude Louboutin heels! Once we were done getting ready, everyone headed over to Busse Woods so Julie & Brian could share a first look together.

After some portraits at Busse Woods, we made our way to downtown Arlington Heights which has an adorable alley way that we used for more photos and it was perfect with all the string lights. Their ceremony followed after at Metropolis Ballroom and it was made complete with their family dog as the ring bearer!!

The night was filled with tons of dancing and great music (even baby shark made an appearance). Thank you Julie & Brian for having me capture your beautiful day!!
