From Danielle of Ohana Events:
Alison and Michael both graduated with a bachelor's in finance. When it came time to find a job, Alison interned for the company Michael worked at and guess what happened. Michael started dating the intern! Fast forward two years and Michael proposed to Alison while they were at Alison's favorite winery in Napa. As they were taking a picture he asked the big question and Alison said "it was perfect!"
Alison and Michael were able to work with a lot of people they knew for their wedding. Their florist was Alison's Aunt, the wedding planner was a high school friend, and the hair stylist was a bridesmaid. It made the day much more comfortable being among people they knew. They were blessed with the most beautiful fall day in late October. The trees were just turning and there was a light brisk in the air which worked well for Alison's long sleeve gown. The black tie affair at the Union League Club of Chicago occurred after a heart felt ceremony at St. Chrysostom's Episcopal Church, where Alison and Michael belong.
