Alyssa and Rob first met at work, and what was once a coworking relationship eventually blossomed into something more. They built their relationship and life together in Chicago, but knew they were planning to have their wedding back in their Ohio hometown. Because Chicago holds such a special place in their hearts and in their relationship, they asked me to come to the Windy City to photograph their engagement session and to document just a tiny slice of the city they now call home together.

We started the evening with a gorgeous view of the Chicago skyline, then walked to Lincoln Park, and ended the evening on North Avenue Beach, soaking up all the last rays of light the summer sunshine had to offer. It was a magical evening in every way - capturing both the majesty of the city and the beauty of their love for each other.
