Small At-Home Wedding with a Cultural Flair
Over 300 guests virtually attended John and Heather’s small at-home wedding. Close family and friends attended the ceremony on their patio along with a mariachi band. It surely was a day to remember and a great reminder that the foundation of a beautiful wedding starts with a great love! Enjoy these images by Nastasia Mora Photography!
From the photographer: John proposed to Heather during a family vacation in Puerto Vallarta, MX. The family had a mariachi band come out, John didn’t tell anyone he was proposing. He got down and popped the question while they sang Guadalajara. They love to travel and had a large wedding planned with guests flying in from all over the globe. Covid had other plans in mind so they decided to postpone a large wedding and have a small intimate ceremony for now.
With over three hundred zoom guests, a mariachi band and close family in attendance, John and Heather exchanged their vows on the patio of their home. It was a beautiful reminder of how to make the best of a difficult situation. The ceremony was beautiful and listening to their parents read speeches over zoom definitely brought tears to my eyes. When the ceremony was over the couple kept tradition alive by doing cake cutting and for the reception, moved through screens to dance with guests.
