If we had to choose one word to sum up Frances and Brendan’s wedding day it would be perfection. Despite all the changes they had to make with the pandemic, the outcome of their celebration was a total dream. They chose to hold their special day at Chicago Illuminating Company, infusing a timeless and elegant style throughout the decor. They even made sure to honor those who couldn’t attend their wedding which added even more beauty to it all. Timeless & Elegant COVID Wedding at Chicago Illuminating Company | CHI thee WED

Our wedding day was perfect. Regardless, of having to postpone and move our wedding 3 times due to the restrictions with Covid. But-you know what they say, 3rd time is the charm, and that it was!

Our style was always timeless with hints of romance/elegance. To our core, we are very thoughtful people and put little thoughts into our day that made it complete. We wanted to make sure- since we we had a wedding during a pandemic, everyone felt comfortable, and the guests that couldn't attend were still thought of. Including our dog, who wouldn't be the best around a white dress.

Our inspiration was romantic, we wanted everyone to feel the love in the room. Our love story is one for the movies, we met through a mutual friend at fell in love at a Lake house (where the bride grew up). We crossed paths nearly our entire lives and didn't meet until the timing was perfect. We have been inseparable since the day we met.

We wanted all of our vendors to align with our personalities, and they were all so talented. From the decorations, venue, band- to the food served. Everything matched our vision. Our photos and video perfectly captured our day, you can see and feel the love and we couldn’t be more thankful for the talent that was put into our wedding.
