As soon as we saw Carlos and Stephanie’s romantic rooftop proposal at LondonHouse Chicago, we were instantly obsessed. Carlos decided to propose to his soon to be bride with Roy Serafin Photo Company secretly behind the lens to capture the moment it happened. Following Stephanie’s enthusiastic '“YES!” they snapped some beautiful photos with the city behind them before having a mini celebration with those they love most.

Carlos reached out to me a few months prior to this with no idea what he wanted to do besides ask Stephanie to be his wife. At the time I was working in Las Vegas on another shoot and over the phone we had narrowed it down to Chicago with a preference towards rooftops.

Thing is, we both didn't realize he picked the day after the elections, and I had to try and make it through all the crowds celebrating in Chicago to get to the proposal spot before they got there. We were minutes apart, but thankfully the amazing people at Londonhouse had created this perfect proposal space where her family was waiting on the floor below. Carlos came up with Stephanie as I was waiting up on the edge of the roof to not be seen. He went down on one knee in front the marry me sign and she said yes and then her entire family came to celebrate them.
