An Intimate St. Patrick’s Day Event with Michelle Durpetti at Gene and Georgetti’s

Written By Curator: Erin Martin - Owner, ECBG Cake Studio

Throughout the course of this pandemic (when we can in accordance with health + safety guidelines of course), we have been creating all kinds of pretty with some incredibly talented fellow Chicago based creatives.

We were so excited when March rolled around so we could channel a little luck of the Irish for whimsically inspired idea. Shades of green from emerald to teal with accents of gold was right where we started, and from there the sky was the limit (or maybe the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!).

This gorgeous set up is perfect for a spring wedding shower or engagement party and can also certainly be inspiration for a St. Patty’s day wedding!

The linens were chosen to provide texture as well as color and to compliment the balloon installation along with the china and floral. We actually have two different sets of printed items - one is completely about the fun and whimsy of “finding that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow” and the other is a more classically inspired suite that creates a very fresh look.  With small events becoming so much more popular these days, it was important for us to showcase how detailed and gorgeous small events can be!
