A Grah Shanti in Chicago

Remember Emily & Ankur's Indian Wedding that was posted yesterday?! So beautiful.
Today we are excited to share their Grah Shanti. If you are not familiar, the Grah Shanti is a pre-wedding ritual typically performed a few days before the wedding with the intent of removing any obstacles the couple may face. In a traditional Hindu wedding, astrology plays a big role and the Grah Shanti is performed to ensure the Navagrah (9 planets) and stars are aligned. This sets the stage for the wedding so the couple may have a happy life.
