Big Fat Serbian Wedding

Ashlee and Nemanja's Serbian wedding took place at the bride's childhood home outside of Chicago, Illinois. A sprawling estate with acres of magical gardens, stables, and tree-lined cobblestone trails that provided the most ethereal backdrop. The custom gown was intricately detailed with a plunging neckline and open back, flattering Ashlee's beautiful figure.

The service began in the garden where a horse and carriage transported the bride and her father, serenaded by a brass quartet, a royal event to say the least. The couple exchanged their personalized vows in front of a three-tiered fountain filled with white hydrangeas and floating candles. The celebration continued as guests flowed into the social hour with passed hor derves and cocktails.

The evening came to a close beneath the white tent with strings of glittering lights, miles of garland and delicate white votives. There was an abundance of emotion and love felt that evening with heartfelt toasts and speeches honoring the couple and their love story. The night was closed with an elaborate fireworks show that truly took the breath away of both the couple and all the guests surrounding them. This surprise from the father of the bride simply intensified the love felt that day!
