Chicago City Skyline + Boat Proposal

Anthony reached out to me and shared his plans to propose to his girlfriend, Bre, and how could I say no?!

He had plans to take her to her favorite city, Chicago, for her 30th birthday and had an entire day of surprises planned for her! After staying in a nice hotel downtown, they started their day with a nice lunch and yummy cocktails, and met me after at Navy Pier! Anthony told Bre that he wanted to get her some photos to celebrate her birthday, but little did she know Anthony and I were in sync and had a plan! We took some portraits in Navy Pier, then walked over to Milton Olive Park, chatting the entire way over. Once at Milton Olive Park, Anthony and I had a specific prompt I was going to use to prompt him to pop the question! Bre was so surprised, and after some big hugs and kisses, we continued with some portraits around the park!

Anthony had more surprises up his sleeve, so we called an Uber to the second location. Unbeknownst to Bre, we were hopping on a boat with champagne to celebrate in the beautiful warm golden sunshine! We boated across the lakefront with the sun beaming over us, snapping portraits along the way. It was a beautiful celebration of a huge milestone, and I was so honored to capture it!
