Modern and Romantic Adler Planetarium Wedding

Megan and Alex met at a dive bar while studying European Philosophy and Buddhism at the University of Chicago. After moving in together, they planned a European trip while visiting the Castello Brown, a historic site in Portofino. Alex gave Megan a Nietzsche book and asked her to read a page where he had added his poems. At the end of the reading about their love story, he got on one knee and asked her the question.

The couple wanted a party with raging dancing and zero stress, and they made it a reality at the Adler Planetarium. Flowers in neutral tones with a hint of pink were the priority to transform this structural venue into a romantic and cozy space. The tables had special touches like crystal etched water goblets and champagne coupes. Their DJ kept every guest dancing all night long, the bride changing from her strapless Pronovias gown and cathedral veil for a Shona Joy gown to join in the fun.
