Rooftop Proposal Overlooking Lake Michigan

I was honored to photograph a dear friend's intimate proposal on the rooftop of the couple's high-rise apartment in downtown Chicago. Michael and Andrea are one of the sweetest couples I know and are head over heels for each other. I was beyond ecstatic when Mike told me he was planning a proposal and even more thrilled when he asked me to photograph this special moment. The couple recently moved into an apartment for the first time living together and Mike thought it would be the perfect location for a proposal on the rooftop overlooking Lake Michigan and Chicago's stunning city skyline. It was truly beautiful to watch him bend on one knee and watch her get teary-eyed as she answered "Yes!" the easiest question of her life.
