Star Wars Wedding at Bridge 410
Grace + Charlie:
“I love you”
“I know”
Charlie is a huge Star Wars fan and Grace found ways to accent their wedding with hints of Star Wars galore. But let’s back up to the start of their day. Grace and Charlie decided to do a first look and while Charlie was gazing at the corner of the city, Grace talked about how big of a heart Charlie has and that he was definitely going to cry throughout the day.
And as predicted, as Charlie laid his eyes on Grace for the first time, a tear rolled down his cheek. They embraced and took the first steps towards the rest of their lives. We took them around the city for their portrait session before heading to the venue. One thing we noticed is each chance they got, they kissed whether the camera was on them or not — almost as if each kiss was a celebration of what was to come. Charlie would crack the joke here and then “there’s no turning back now” and while we all knew it was a joke, the “that will always be the furthest thing from my mind” was written all over Grace’s face each time she looked at him.
Getting to the venue we “aww-ed” over the Star Wars touches Grace put together. From the chalkboard welcome sign, to the table numbers, to their officiant’s / one of Charlie’s bff’s outfit change! As the outdoor ceremony came to a close, Dino (the officiant) legit stripped off his jacket and dress shirt revealing a Darth Vader t-shirt right before saying “with the power invested in me..” It was the perfect touch that had both Grace and Charlie glowing right before kissing for the first time as husband and wife.
The air was filled with laughs, cigar smoke, and tunes the couple hand-picked to keep their family and friends on their feet celebrating the magic of being in love.
