Sarah + Josh's University of Chicago Elopement

Sarah and Josh chose to have a religious ceremony inside the tiny chapel at the University of Chicago Brent House, where Sarah spent a lot of time during her studies. The elopement was captured by lisa kathan photography, and celebrated by a few friends who attended the private ceremony.

Sarah and Josh included so many special details in their ceremony: an heirloom crucifix belonging to Josh’s grandmother; a gold cross that belonged to Sarah’s great-grandmother; and the communion bread, handmade by Josh, which the couple served to their guests.

After the ceremony, the couple walked the gorgeous, historic University of Chicago campus. If only the joy these two had in one another could be bottled!
