About
I’m Kate (she/her), your fave queer and quirky photographer!
I have a passion for those beautiful “in between” moments, as well as those posed photos that look like they should belong on the cover of a magazine. All I want is for you to gasp and say “Oh my god, this is amazing!” when you get your wedding album back. There is nothing more I value than an inclusive, loving environment on your wedding day, and that starts with trust and comfort in front of the camera. I love shooting both digital and film, and I include both formats in all of my weddings.
I want to celebrate every form of love. Queer couples, poly couples, couples who are bucking the typical wedding traditions: you are all welcome here. No request is too big, no idea is too silly. This is ALL ABOUT YOU! Do you want to get eloped at the courthouse on a Wednesday morning? There won’t be a big line! Are you adding in important cultural elements from both sides of your family? I will capture every detail with love and care. Are you including your pets on the big day? Get ready to hear me shriek with joy! You have a story to tell, and I want to show the world your story.
This styled shoot at Colvin House radiates elegance and intimacy, showcasing a modern wedding celebration. Set in a refined venue adorned with deep marble textures and golden candlelight, the atmosphere is both romantic and sophisticated.

Chicago has so many gorgeous and iconic locations that are perfect for proposals and one that does not disappoint is the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk. This location is especially popular in the fall when the trees start to shift to their autumn colors.

We are excited to share a beautiful proposal of Eliza and Ale at the Garfield Park Conservatory. These two were beaming with love and we can literally feel their joy through these images. As a reminder if at all possible, capture your proposal in images because you will not regret it.
