Hi, I'm Ryan (They/Them), fine-art documentary event photographer specializing in urban elopements and intimate weddings in and around Chicago. Drawing influence from my fine-art education, with a unique eye for colour and texture, architecture and space; and influenced by classical and abstract expressionist painting, my approach to wedding photography blends moment-driven candid/documentary storytelling with a sophisticated, fine art aesthetic. The perfect balance of exquisitely crafted artful imagery with elegance and panache, and fly-on-the-wall wedding reportage with an emotional resonance that stands the test of time.
