Winterlyn Photography
About
I’m Winterlyn, a Chicago wedding photographer with over a decade of experience documenting refined, thoughtfully planned celebrations. I work alongside planners and creative teams to ensure the photography experience feels seamless, considered, and aligned with the level of care you’ve invested in your day.
My approach is rooted in awareness and precision: reading the room, anticipating what’s about to unfold, and knowing when to guide and when to step back. Nothing feels forced, nothing feels missed. You’re able to remain fully present, while every moment is documented with intention and clarity.
My couples are accomplished, discerning, and value a process that is both elevated and effortless. They trust me to navigate complex timelines, shifting light, and high-energy environments with calm confidence, while creating imagery that reflects not just how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.
From our first conversation through final delivery, the experience is tailored, unobtrusive, and deeply considered. My role is not just to document your wedding, but to support it. Ensure that what you’ve carefully planned is captured with the level of artistry, discretion, and expertise it deserves.

Winterlyn Photography shares about second photographers being the best investments on your wedding day. “Having a second photographer is like having an extra set of eyes, hands, and heart fully dedicated to your wedding day. It allows us to be in two places at once—literally. While I’m capturing your walk down the aisle, my second shooter may be photographing your partner’s reaction.”
