Captured and Written by Lindsey Taylor of Lindsey Taylor Photography: “The day started off getting ready at the beautiful Hotel Zachary across from Wrigley Field. These two met, fell in love, and even got engaged (on the field!) in Wrigleyville, so it made for the perfect place to begin their wedding day! I just love that these two chose a getting ready location that was so special and sentimental to their relationship.

There ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Theater on the Lake, a newly renovated venue with beautiful views of both the lake and skyline. I couldn't have dreamt up a better setting for this classic, modern Chicago wedding. We can’t get over the incredible Rolls Royce getaway car that matched their wedding color scheme perfectly either!

Remember those epic surprises I mentioned? To start, a Cubs World Series ring made an appearance which was obviously fitting. Joelle and Peter were then surprised by their good friend MASN who sang their first dance song.

Little did they know, there was an even bigger surprise in store! Joelle’s dad got up to give a toast, and as he said the words “when a Chicago girl meets a Jersey boy…” a curtain dropped and the Four C Notes (Chicago’s only Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons tribute band) began to play!

It’s safe to say that this was one of the most fun weddings I’ve been to (and I was “working”). Oh what a night it was!”

Joelle the Bride says: “My best advice is to have fun! Enjoy your day, you just married the love of your life! The most important think is you and your partner. Also - dance as much as possible!”

These two are the sweetest and we are so happy to share their special day with you!
