Artifact Events Spotlight

Our Curator Olivia of Olive Fine Weddings visited Artifact Events and talked with their General Manager, Christine to give you the inside scoop about this unique loft space in Ravenswood!

Located in Chicago’s Historic Ravenswood neighborhood, Artifact Events  is an industrial, loft style venue that is made up of 3 original buildings united to form distinct event spaces with high ceilings, beautiful natural light, exposed beams and hardwood floors. The outdoor area is a enclosed courtyard featuring 25 foot columns creating a stunning backdrop for your ceremony or cocktail hour. Located in the Ravenswood neighborhood, your attendees will be exposed to a neighborhood with a wonderful mix of artists lofts, industrial production, breweries, shops and restaurants. Just along the Metra tracks and steps from the Montrose Brown line, Artifact Events offers the space and inspiration to host any event.

Artifact Events is a venue for couple looking for a unique space that will really excite your guests. We see a wide range of wedding styles here from the elegant and traditional side to more vintage, eclectic and creative and always hear that guests have so much fun exploring the spaces. The best size for weddings here is 125-275.

It is somewhat of a raw loft, industrial space but it's decorated with rare antiques and artifacts. The spaces have so much character built it, but you can still make it your own. The North space includes a 3 story atrium that makes an impressive ceremony space and/or dance floor.

Wedtoberfest will be here again this October and it's a fun, casual way to tour the venue, meet potential wedding vendors and understand their services, all while enjoying beer from Chicago’s great breweries!
