Cristina & Konrad's Surprise Proposal

Konrad planned every single word (including a script for the photographer!) for his proposal to Cristina! We are so thrilled that he had Cay Diamond Photography there to capture it too! Wait until you see her reaction when he got down on one knee!

Their story: Konrad said that after receiving Cristina's engagement ring it was burning a hole in his pocket. He simply couldn't wait any longer to propose. That is when he contacted Cay Diamond Photography and asked her to document the entire process on short notice.

Konrad knew he would need a reason to have a photographer following them around before he popped the big question. The plan was to have the photographer say she was a photojournalist working on a piece called "Humans of Chicago" and she wanted to take a few photos of the them. His plan worked because Cristina was completely caught off guard when Konrad pulled her stunning engagement ring from his pocket and dropped to one knee! Cristina was overwhelmed with emotion as she said “YES!”.
