Classic and Romantic Chicago Wedding at The Drake Hotel

Elegance and love surrounded Valentina and Kevin’s classic and romantic Chicago wedding at The Drake Hotel. Their black tie affair included beautiful florals, bold burgundy tones, and a lavish allure that has our eyes hooked to these photos by Julia Franzosa Photography!

150 guests attended the black tie optional affair. The bride and her father walked down the aisle with her father to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” (Elvis), and the happily married couple walked back down the aisle together as man and wife to “Here Comes the Sun” (The Beatles). Cocktail hour was held in the Venetian Room, and the ceremony and reception were both held in the Grand Ballroom. When asked to describe her wedding’s style, Valentina said, “Romantic/Classic.”

How did you meet?

Valentina: We met what seems like now the "old fashioned" way -- Kevin and his friend came up to my friend and I at a local bar. He asked me a million questions that night and was pretty persistent to go on a first date. We lived the same neighborhood so kept running into each other, and started officially dating a few months down the road.

What's your favorite thing about him?

Valentina: He is the most genuine person I know, and I can be 100% myself with him.

What's your favorite thing about her?

Kevin: Aside from all the apparent great qualities that she has, I love all the small things about her (that she thinks are embarrassing but make me smile).
