Winter Wedding in Chicago

Hannah and Jack tied the knot on February 26th, 2022! Starting at Loyola University Chicago's chapel (Madonna Della Strada), Hannah got ready with her mom and sisters before the ceremony.

Most notably, Hannah had forgotten her "Something Blue" at home. Her sister proceeded to cut a strand of her mom's navy blue Mother-of-the-Bride dress to tie around Hannah's ankle to fulfill the longstanding tradition. It was so special to see her mom give up a piece of herself to quickly find a solution that was all the more meaningful to Hannah's wedding day story. You can see glimpses of the blue fabric throughout the gallery walking during portraits and when she changes shoes before the reception.

Hannah and Jack got married surrounded by all the best family and friends in a Catholic ceremony in the beautiful Madonna Della Strada chapel at Loyola University Chicago, where they met while in college.

After their wedding, Hannah and Jack wanted to stop by Wrigleyville to bring in their special memories from the early days of their relationship. We stopped by Irish Oak, their favorite bar in college where they spent many weekends together. They took a celebratory shot like the old days and we were off to their venue downtown.

We stopped along the riverwalk for portraits - fun fact about this location: you can see Hannah and Jack's first apartment they lived in together in the background of each image! Bringing their story full circle was important to them as you can tell :)

You can see a few images in the party bus set of Hannah's Dad's shoes. Those are the shoes that he wears to every baptism, wedding, and other special family event (with his fun socks.)

Then they partied the night away at the Forum @ 110 N Wacker Drive. Their guests came ready to PARTY, ending the night with people dancing on tables and pouring drinks over each other.
