About
Intentional storytelling with a documentary influence to capture every joyful emotion & love-filled moment.
Emma Petersen is a Chicago wedding and elopement photographer that specializes in documenting the story of your wedding day. Each portrait Emma takes is a moment held in time that encapsulates every happy tear, every tight squeeze, and every in-between.
Her Mission? Make Your Photos More Than Just Photos. She captures that spark between you and your loved ones in whatever form that takes - wildly-romantic-giddy love between you and your favorite person or deep-seated familial love with everyone important enough to be present on your wedding day.
We're the perfect match if:
You're dreaming about capturing not only beautiful portraits, but also all the candid moments in between.
You value the power of storytelling and documenting your wedding day exactly how it felt to be there.
You love your people fiercely and want photos that reflect that love.
Your priority on your wedding day is enjoying the fleeting day with the people you love - not making it into an endless photoshoot.
You’re looking for an in-depth experience that results in photos that feel unique to you and your story.
