“Lindsey and Brandon’s day was joyful, well-styled and full of love. Their downtown wedding was quintessentially Chicago, from the skyscraper views to the mini Italian beef sandwiches they served as late night bites at the reception.

Lindsey started her day with her bridesmaids as they sipped champagne in matching robes, shared lots of giggles, and spoiled the bride with a special monogrammed necklace with her wedding date on it. Three One Two Bridal was on site to make sure all of the ladies looked and felt their best with their hair and makeup.

They said ‘I do’ at the exclusive Holy Name Cathedral and finished the night celebrating at Theater on the Lake, a very special Chicago venue with lakeshore views. They had a whopping 21 person bridal party and family who traveled from all over to witness their love.

Special details of the day included Lindsey’s choice of unique mismatched bridesmaid dresses in various shades of purple, some embellished with gorgeous sequin details. The purple shade continued to tie throughout their wedding with the perfectly matched tall and elegant floral arrangements created by Flower Firm at the reception. Amy Beck Cake Design wowed guests with a beautifully elegant three tier cake.

Lindsey and Brandon were blessed with the most beautiful sunset over the lake to end their summer wedding day, and we of course snuck away for some couples portraits in the dreamy evening light!

My favorite moment of Lindsey and Brandon’s day came during toasts. Hearing their friends and family tell their love story was very touching, especially when their 3 legged dog Bullet was mentioned!

These two wowed their guests during first dances with a beautiful ballroom waltz - they took lessons and it definitely paid off seeing Brandon twirl his bride elegantly around the dance floor. Lindsey truly looked like a princess in her soft layered tulle gown. Straight Groovin Productions kept everyone on the dancefloor from then on out!
