After celebrating America on Wednesday, and having what felt like a wacky week of working, days off, and celebrations, Festival Friday is BACK with a full lineup of music, the arts, and culture from every angle!
West Fest
Located in Chicago’s West Town Community on Chicago Avenue between Damen and Wood Street. West Fest is locally planned and managed by West Town’s Chamber of Commerce, which means this fest really emphasizes their local talent and retailers! Also included, Kid Fest and Pet Fest, so there is literally something for everyone!
$5 suggested donation - proceeds benefit local non-profits the West Town Chamber of Commerce, Talcott Fine Arts and Museum Academy, and Sabin Elementary School.

Irish American Heritage Festival
Irish Fest is held on the grounds of the Irish American Heritage Center and showcases the finest in local and international Irish and American music, dance and family activities. In addition to the great music lineup, the weekend is packed with festival favorites: Irish and American food and drink from vendors, step dancing, cultural exhibits, children’s activities and dozens of vendors and artisans selling Irish clothing, music and jewelry. Activities include contests for adults and children, a bags tournament and cultural exhibits and programs in the Art Gallery, Library and Museum.
$15 entry, children under 12 FREE

Millenium Art Fest
The 10th annual Millenium Art Festival is a 3-day fest taking place in Chicago’s Millennium park near Michigan Ave and Lake Street. This fest embodies Amdur Productions’ dedication to crafting an experience of art exploration - including paintings, ceramics, photography, and furniture, and features more than 110 artists! Looking for photography inspiration? Check out the Landmark Photo Contest with submissions by local amateur photographers!

Live in Lincoln Park
Silver Wrapper and StarEvents have come together to announce Live in Lincoln Park 201. Live In Lincoln Park has evolved from a street fest into a new, outdoor event relocated inside Chicago’s beautiful Lincoln Park, in a gorgeous tree lined area called Grove 2 near Stockton & LaSalle (off Clark St). Live music and a variety of vendors will have you jammin' in the park all weekend long. Don’t forget to also check out Yoga on Sunday at 11am with Jeannie Miller!
Admission is $20/day or $35/weekend (children 12 and under are free!)

Fest of Life
The 26th Annual African/Caribbean International Festival of Life (IFOL) is dedicated to "TheReggae50", 50 years of Reggae music from 1968/69 to 2018. This festival takes place in Union Park, 1501 West Randolph Street, showcasing a diverse culture of music and dance. Over 50 world music acts will be performing this year, Including Chicago's 2017 Best Female Vocalist - Terisa Griffin and Best Rock Entertainer - Lever
