About Grace + Ivory

Wedding dresses for kick-ass women. As a try-at-home online bridal brand with our roots in Chicago, Grace + Ivory creates beautiful, custom, made-to-measure wedding dresses for the modern bride at accessible prices. With our try-at-home program, brides can try on our dress samples nationwide by ordering directly off our website. If you’re in the Chicago area, you can book an appointment with us also directly through our website to browse our dresses in our Bucktown Showroom. Our collection of dresses is carefully curated, and designs in our collection can be customized. Dresses are made with quality fabrics and craftmanship in mind, and every dress is made-to-order and one-of-a-kind.

As a minority-owned, women-owned shop, we've partnered directly with our dressmaker, and cut out layers of distributors and retailers to offer gorgeous dresses without the mark-up (all of our designs are under $3,000). We believe in doing bridal differently and create our high-quality dresses in three to four months (but order in enough time for alterations!). Every dress is carefully sewn and lovingly made for a bride, focusing on proportional fit. As we’re a social enterprise, and as our mission is about women supporting women, a portion of every dress purchase goes to programs benefiting women and girls. We’re currently supporting the Chicago Period Project, which empowers homeless and in-need people to experience their periods with dignity. The feminist, grassroots organization distributes pads, tampons, underwear, and other critical menstruation supplies to local shelters, schools, and crisis support networks.

About our Founder

Tina Wong is the Founder and CEO at Grace + Ivory, a modern, curated try-at-home brand of customizable, made-to-measure wedding dresses. After seven years working in foreign aid and business development in DC, she took the leap to fulfill her passion for business done better and launched her social enterprise in 2017. She lived in China for four years, which is where she got to develop relationships with the talented women who would become the dressmakers for Grace + Ivory. Tina believes that social enterprise is the future of good business and is the way forward to address global development issues, so a portion of each dress purchased supports women’s programs around the world. Tina is a proud Chicago native (go Cubs!) and Loyola alum who loves travel (she’s been to six continents!), hiking, wine, and finding ways to support other ambitious women in the Windy City.
